Welcome new and returning piano students and parents to my piano studio! My name is Holly Rose. I love music! It is an important part of my life. I began piano when I was 7 years old. I had 3 excellent teachers as I grew up. I experienced performing, accompanying, and competing musically. As I learned and gained ex-perience I wanted more. I chose to major in piano pedagogy at BYU and began my studies with several outstanding professors and musicians. I received my bachelor of music degree in piano pedagogy. I have been teaching for 30+ years.I have a private studio in my home with 2 Yamaha pianos. I promise to give you my best effort in teaching in a competent and reasonably sensitive way. I am active in Oregon Music Teachers Association. We meet monthly and have opportunities throughout the year to increase our skills and musical knowledge through workshops and conventions nationally and statewide. Some of our students may choose to attend workshops locally.
